Definitely better than what I was expecting

Definitely a decent bike. Has a few drawbacks but if you're looking for a good backup bike it will do the trick. I have a custom Trek but my father in law came to town and wanted to ride. I got this bike for him and while it isn't as smooth as mine it isn't bad. It is a bit heavy compared to an aluminum frame but for the price it isn't bad. The front break has a loud squeak when applied, but easily remedied. I used it on a 30 mile ride and have to say I'm quite impressed. Not going to be my go to main bike but a good backup for sure. I would recommend if you want to get into biking but don't know where to start or if you just want a second bike. Make sure you get the right size!
Great bike

The bike is great. Assembly was simple and straightforward and I didn't experience any of the issues other reviewers complained about. For a steel frame, it's lighter than expected but it isn't racing bike light. The seat is very hard so I'm going to change that for sure. The package arrived slightly damaged and 7 days late but I'm still giving it 5 stars because the bike itself was well secured inside of the box and as for being late, I'll just assume it has something to do with the global pandemic. Overall I'm vey happy with the purchase.

Overall easy assembly, the rear wheel and cassette were already together, just had to lock in the front wheel and some other accessories. I've been riding it 17 miles per day most days of the week for the last couple of months and I have no major complaints. The bike is a little bit heavy for what it is, especially when comparing it to most modern competitors, but you're also saving a thousand or more on price. Shifters did require some adjustment to get them more on point for the gear settings, but nothing too complex. Overall for its price point, this is a really good bike for getting around the city. Even more so if you're worried about your bike getting stolen. If you're looking for some upgradeable points from this bike, disk brakes, trigger shifting (current shifter location can be tedious to shift sometimes), and lighter frame. Aside from those points, the bike is great, but even with those points, it is still a great deal and worth purchasing while working up to something better.
