Needs an option for a stiffer spring

After looking at several options, this one seemed to me to be the most mechanically elegant. I ride for fitness and pleasure, so weight did not really play a part in my decision. This stem is very well-built of what appear to be quality materials. It was very easy to install. I do not think it looks massive, or in any way inelegant. I am now in my 60's and the more upright position created by the standard model is an added plus. I do not feel any loss of control. I do think it needs to be slightly stiffer - or at least have that as an option. I started with the middle (pre-installed) spring and after one very short run, immediately replaced it with the stiffest spring - still not stiff enough. With a stiffer spring option, it gets 5 stars.
It really absorbs the shock impulses to the arms

It was easy to install and is a great shock absorber for the hands and arms on a bike with no front suspension and when coupled with the Kinekt Seat Post Suspension it makes for a very comfortable ride on a no suspension bike. Caveat for the seat post suspension: MAKE SURE TO MEASURE THE CORRECT DIAMETER OF YOUR CURRENT SEAT POST as the Amazon description is a bit vague and ambiguous.

Put this on my Pedego Element e-bike in about 20 minutes with two allan wrenches, absolutely dead simple to install. No more numb hands! Really takes out the bumps and pain together with a seatpost.

I never write reviews but I thought this one deserved it. My wife has severe arthritis in her wrists and hands she always complained when she hits bumps how bad it made her hands hurt. So I did a little researching and I found this stem and purchased it and I put it on her electric bike it's night and day it made the ride so much smoother and now her hands don't hurt when she hits bumps. It is well worth the money if your bike doesn't have front shocks. Very easy to install.
