It came in with no charge,seguro tu issues, so I charge it for five hours as recomended and it came alive. Great ZAP to it. All buttons and lights work as suppose and the holster was perfect. It fit like a globe. The belt clip is to weak. Can't hold the holster secure in place. I'm worrking on it. Making a whole leather holster with heavy clips and rivets. Using holster as a guide😉. I like this device. The size fits great in my running vest. It is light weight. The seller is great. Initially I lost the the cord which is needed to activate the taser. Seller sent me a new one promptly. I also lost the charge cord haha but you can buy them for $5.00 on amazon. Anyway, it seems to work great though I have no one to test it on. I run trails solo and this will work great with random off leash dogs and creepy men. Not sure it will help with a mountain lion encounter but it is good to have.
