This tool set is great for the diy mechanic. Has just about everything you need to work on your vehicles. The price is amazing compared to other sets, and you do get more tools for less money. It's not tool truck quality but it's definitely well built. I've used about half of the tools in the set and they feel pretty strong/sturdy.
Great beginner set for the price

Pretty good tool set. Alot of basic tools you'll need. The tools are very sturdy except the 9mm 3/8th it broke after one use but also another technician's broke on the same job so it could be the job being performed. Overall great value for your money. The sides are a little hard to open but I just leave it open cause I use the tools often and the drawers slide out pretty good too.
Finally a solution for losing your 10mm wrench!

I'm going to start out by saying that this isn't a bad tool set upon initial inspection, and will probably suffice for most people who are intending to have this as a backup set of tools or for light duty usage.
I'm a former Mercedes Benz Technician, who has two garages and am tired of trying to guess which basic tools I will need for the oddball jobs I get myself into, then grab them from my toolbox, and not lose them while they are out and about.
The first thing I noticed about this set of tools:
They have an amazing solution to the common problem of losing you 10mm wrench.
They do not include one. Never spend time looking around for it, because you never got one! It's genius.
That's my main gripe. There are 10mm sockets, in 6 point and the 'asking for trouble' 12 point.
The ratchets feel pretty nice, but I haven't tried to throw a 4ft cheater bar on anything yet. They may not hold up.
But if you are looking for something that has a decent selection of hand tools for most applications, these probably aren't bad. They have torx sockets, and that is a big plus.
I'll be trying to break them with regular use on vehicles that live in the snow over the next several weeks, and will update this with an appropriate casualty report if I find that the tool broke because of the tool itself and not the 300lb gorilla whose only grasp of physics involves more leverage.
