â¦âž½ Among many, this VANPHY B Flat Clarinet is yet another instrument
that I haven't tried to play before, or even held before and always wanted
to try. I placed an order for this Clarinet and Patiently waited for it to be
delivered. I was only a couple of days wait....

â¦âž½ I received the Clarinet and all is fine, no damage or defects that
I can see. Very well packaged this Clarinet not only looks intimidating,
it looks very nice, and seems very well made.

⦠The Case is nice and seems to be well made.
⦠All parts are accounted for fit snug in their spot. Lots Of Black and
silver. I like it!..
⦠A very nice instrument.. Comes with a few accessories, parts. A pair
of white gloves (?), Soft polishing cloth, Screwdriver, Joint Grease,
alcohol wipe paper, 8 clarinet reeds, Cap and hard case with backpack-
straps.

> Only One Reed was included with this bundle. Should have included
at least a couple.

⦠No beginners guide / instructions come with this Clarinet bundle.....
Not sure why so many companies don't include any instructions at all
anymore, especially for beginners.......

âž½ OK, so now what...?
YouTube! It's your best friend at this point...... Use it it works great to
find information that you need and you'll be able to learn .. How to set
up and assemble the Clarinet ( I had no Idea how to), how to use and
install the Reed (Needs to be wet from water or your mouth) and even
how to play the instrument.. I would have been completely lost without
YouTube.......
I played the Trumpet for many years and I sort of applied some things
when using the clarinet. Though the clarinet is nothing like the trumpet
It did help me to understand a few things with blowing technique, etc.
Wax the cork, and so much more... There is a lot involved to play this
instrument.

I even was able to play a little in a short period of time....
A fun instrument to play... And I am looking forward to learning more
about it.....

SO YouTube can help....Use it..

This is a well made and decent beginners instrument, no doubt. Looks
good and plays well. Almost a complete bundle, you will need to buy
some more reeds at least....... Also No instructions on assembly or on
how to use it... YouTube will help with that...A few small things could
have made this bundle a lot better... It's a bit pricey...
But in the end.... I Still like it. So, give it a try if you are interested in
this instrument..... Good Luck!

I just want to start this review by saying that I have no experience with wind instruments, I do play the guitar and this instrument seemed appealing to me.

What you get with this instrument is a nice carrying case which feels durable enough to protect this instrument. The built quality of this clarinet seemed pretty nice and I had no complains at all about it, it felt like a well made instrument. The black and silver of the instrument complimented it really well. After watching a couple of YouTube videos on how to play the clarinet, I was able to play some songs. As far as sound quality is concerned, it sounded just like the clarinet from the videos I watched so I am going to say that it was pretty good. Something to note is that the price for this clarinet was very affordable compared to other instruments.

One of the things that I think is missing from this clarinet was maybe some instructions on how to use it, at least for beginners.

Overall, I was happy with this clarinet. I do wish that it had better instructions on how to use it but if you have internet, I am sure you can find some nice tutorials on how to use it. I hope this review helps you make an educated purchasing decision.

Great product for the money, but you do need to invest in a better mouth piece.

I am having fun learning to play a reed instrument, and this is a nice model clarinet to start with. It is easy to assemble. The keys are responsive. The plastic instrument feels well made and durable. So far, after a few days, i sound like a canada goose 😬. I have gotten a better tone when i pre-soak the reed a little before use. Also, they could have included more reeds to start with, though maybe they didnt know whether to cater to beginners or more experienced players who can use harder, higher-number reeds. Replacement reeds dont cost much, anyway.

I played the clarinet about 20 years ago. I was a bit rusty, but was easily able to play this one, however it did take more breath than I remember. The keys work nicely. Overall it's a beautiful instrument. I like the matte finish on it, rather than the gloss finish my old one had. I like that it comes with everything you need to get started. It does not come with extra reeds though (not the 8 mentioned, but only one). Note: You need to get the reed wet before use... I typically hold it in my mouth and soak it. Depending on how much you play you will need to change out reeds as they start to split. This also doesn't come with a manual or stand, as other kits in a comparable price range do. The mouthpiece on it is glossy and not matte like the rest. And it's a bit difficult to secure the "clamp" on the mouthpiece because of the slope. My old clarinet had a bit of an indentation of where the "clamp" goes so that it doesn't just slide off. The case is very nice, offers protection and a pocket. Overall this is a nice kit and will start any beginner.
