Oh boy, let me tell you about this acne clearing astringent I bought with my HRA account. First of all, the name "Acne Warrior" made me feel like I was gearing up for battle against my own face.
But when I applied it, I swear I could feel it going to war against my pimples. It was like my skin was Mount Doom and the astringent was Frodo, determined to destroy the ring of acne once and for all.
The scent was...interesting, to say the least. It smelled like someone had mixed a bottle of rubbing alcohol with a pine tree air freshener. But hey, if it means clear skin, I'll put up with smelling like a cleaning product.
I will say, though, that this astringent is not for the faint of heart. It definitely made my skin feel like it was on fire for a few minutes. But hey, no pain no gain, right?
Overall, I'm pretty happy with my purchase. My skin looks clearer than it has in ages, and I feel like I can take on the world (or at least my next breakout) with confidence. So if you're looking for an acne-fighting product that will make you feel like a warrior, give this astringent a try.
