I actually used this the 3rd day I had it in my purse. A guy in the parking lot across the street from my work had locked his dog and keys inside of his truck. Luckily his window was cracked open a few inches, which was just enough for me to reach into my purse, extend the magnet out and slide it through the window over to his center console where it grabbed his keys and pulled them out. The guy had like 10 keys on a large key ring and the magnet was powerful enough to grab the whole thing without slipping once. I saved the day... lol

This kit is really helpful in a variety of ways. The magneted light is bright and the magnet is strong keeping it in place where you need the light. The LED mirror makes inspecting hard to reach areas much easier. The other magnets and mirror is very good, but the LED mirror and flashlight are the main value of this package. For the money, its a great value, though for less than $20 I wouldn't expect them all to last a lifetime but seem built to last at least a few years.

I realize not all metal is magnetic, so this won't work on everything, but still it will come in handy. How many times have I dropped some little bitty doo-hickey and not been able to reach it? The pictures shows this for automotive use, but I think it's a great thing for general around-the-house DIY. I appreciate the telescoping handles, the mirrors that angle and rotate, the lights. Just the other day I dropped a washer and it fell sort of back behind my dryer. Now I am able to retrieve it. Very happy, and it's got a nice little pouch to keep everything in.

Best extension wands and mirror that I have ever bought. I like the idea of having lights on the end of the mirror and the extension wand with a magnet. I'm always dropping small nuts and screws in small tight areas where my hands can't fit when working on the motor of my car. The mirror with the light helps to see under areas and crevices. I don't have to use a separate flashlight and try to reflect the light off the mirror to see under dark areas anymore and the extension wand is long enough to reach in and pick up the small nuts and screws. The only issue that l have is the magnet on the extension wand with the light does need to be stronger just in case you need to used it to pick up bigger heavier bolts. The items seem to be made of a good strong thick metal that won't bend easily but time will tell after putting them to a lot of use. The magnets on the other extension wands without the lights are strong and have a good reach.
