Overall this was a nice unit. I didn't check out most of the features because I wanted to make sure that it functioned as a telephone extension first. Unfortunately, as soon as I connected, the party at the other end of my phone call stated that my voice came through better from my phone than from this unit.

I purchased some less expensive, 10W total speaker output BT speakers for comparison. Although this unit boasts 24W total output, I'm not convinced that its output was significantly louder than the 10W units.

I'm really returning it because my voice doesn't come through clearly.

I've only had this for 3 weeks and used the SD card until I played via bluetooth today. The sound is decent. Much better than similarly priced speakers I've purchased in the past. It's not by any means like a JBL or similar but I paid only $29.99 for this guy.

Paired with my laptop no problem on first try. Didn't test for distance but worked from about 20 feet away with little obstacles in the way. I played it I guess around 20 hours and it started beeping. Turns out that is a signal power is low. Plugged it in while continuing to play via bluetooth and no problem. The EQ seems ok. It's preset so you have no actual control. But decent. I like one setting for stuff like podcasts and one for music. I'm very happy with it so far.

I write reviews all of the time on products that I have purchased and used for a while. I searched and searched for this style speaker on many website's and wanted a mid priced quality speaker. I read and understand All of the technical specs and make my decision to purchase items based on those specs provided. I do Not care about all of the ridiculous Marketing Photos and "hype" associated with the product. So, here goes:
Pros:
The Speaker sounds Wonderful:-) It has a wonderful sound range and outputs at 12Watts per channel, 24Watts Total. I tested the Low Frequency range with a couple of tunes I know, Intergalactic and Sugar Water. Handles the lows really well!
The Battery Life from a Full charge is around 18hours using at a moderate volume.
Bluetooth Works Well, connects to all of my devices
It is made of Durable high quality materials and appears to be waterproof
It Does Have an Audio-In Jack 3.5mm stereo, which I use for my older electronics
Cons:
I couldn't identify from the listing if it had an Audio-In Jack (A Review from another buyer confirmed that it does)
I would prefer a Photo of the Jacks in the speaker, be shown and described on the listing. not kids jumping around to the music:-(
I think it would be nice if the speaker came with a stand that holds the speaker in a horizontal position to free up the other speaker from being somewhat muffled as it stands on one side
I don't really want flashing lights to the music, a useless feature for me However if you depress the Equalizer button twice and fast it turns off the light. Yay!
Lastly, I use the Audio-In Jack mostly, and even though the speaker enunciates that it is using the audio-in when you plug it in but the Bluetooth keeps searching...I Tested it. Bluetooth drains your battery just like in your cell phone if you keep it turned on. The Battery life would be much longer if bluetooth turned off when connected to the audio-in jack. Otherwise I really do like this speaker and would highly recommend it for the price around $30.

I was a bit skeptical because of some of the reviews BUT this little speaker blew me away. It is exactly what I wanted and more! The battery life speaks for itself, I was able to use this speaker for 30 min straight out of the box along with several other uses before I even needed to charge it. The sound is great and I'm not sure why people were saying it wasn't loud enough, it's plenty loud. I actually bought this to use when I take a shower and I can hear everything clearly. I don't put it in the shower because I don't have much room but I put it on the sink right near it and it sounds great. Plus, I don't have worry in case it gets wet. If you want a more surround sound you can also lay it down. I had no issues connecting it to my iPhone and it was very easy to pair. I highly recommend this, if you're on the fence just buy it!!

I purchased the Ortizan Bluetooth Speakers to use for movie nights on our patio and listening to music both in and outdoors. I've really enjoyed them so far. I have a covered patio on which I hang a screen to watch movies. I have one Bluetooth speaker, but I really wanted two to achieve the "drive-in ambiance" I was seeking. With the help of some carabiners, I hung the speakers on each side of the screen so the sound would project outward. It sounded great! The volume can get quite high without distortion. The quality is more than sufficient for my needs. With them being IPX7, I can leave them out even if we get a light rain without them getting ruined if I don't have time to take them in.

I've tested how long the battery lasts with the flashing lights turned on. I've gotten about 15 hours before the very annoying "beeping" or a "cutting out sound" starts. I read about the beeping in other reviews, not only for this one but for other manufacturers as well. I have no idea what is up with that. Why tick off customers with that? I don't know how much juice was left in the battery because I couldn't stand listening to this annoyance for very long. At first, I thought it was notifications from my phone. Sadly, no. I didn't test how long the battery lasts without the lights on, but it would obviously be longer.

Getting one speaker connected via Bluetooth was pretty easy. It was getting two of them paired that was an issue. One reviewer mentioned that you need to remember which one you connected via Bluetooth first and always connect that one first to avoid issues. Once I finally remembered that, I haven't had an issue connecting and pairing them since. I selected a bright carabiner color to attach to the speaker that I need to connect to Bluetooth first. Then I turn on the other speaker to pair them. Has worked 100% of the time so far. I even connected the speakers to my projector without a hitch. So that was a bright spot. I've also connected it to my Smart TV without issue.

I'm very satisfied thus far with the quality, durability and sound. I would never use the speakers for 15 or even 10 hours straight, so having to charge them in between is no problem to avoid the low battery annoyance. My 3-year-old great-niece enjoyed listening to Disney music while playing in the yard sprinkler! When I took the speakers down, she wanted to help carry one but ended up dropping one on the patio. It still works fine, so I can say it can at least withstand a drop on concrete.

If you don't need high-end sound quality, these are great for the price point. I ordered the blue color and love it. I also like the design of it and that it is mostly waterproof. The flashing lights can provide a fun atmosphere especially when used at a party. The kids like it too!
