So far I love this curling iron, I have very fine hair thats been over processed to add volume to my fine hair which breaks off due to the striking bleaching I have seen any really dry hair like I did before, if you have very fine hair & have this damaging problem it expensive but well worth the cost.

I love the temperature buttons and screen with an easy-to-read temperature. This curl started at 7am and it's now 5 after a full day of work, weather, and then home with 3 kids. When I combed out the curls, they did not get frizzy or lose their shape. Best curling iron I've owned.

My favorite feature about this curling iron the wide range of temps it has. I have really fine delicate hair and this is the only iron I have found that goes low enough to prevent damage. The red lights also give a non-heat boost which seems to make my hair shinier. it also has a longer barrel which is good for my long hair. I don't run out of barrel before I run out hair! The rest of the features are as expected and all work well.

i bought this & the professional series by mint in order to compare. not 1". this one for me is by far the best. for one thing the clip holds the hair a little snugger (not tight) where it slips out easier with the mint. the mint heats to 430 this one to 410 but this one was still better even with each at highest settings. the SRI heated up almost immediately ...very fast. it curled better & curl lasts longer. my hair is straight & fine & almost to my waist. the SRI does not have a ready light or indicator that i can see...& the mint does. but this one heats up so fast it doesn't really matter.
update: actually this iron does have a "ready indicator"... the temp numbers flash when set then stop flashing when temperature is met :)
