We have had this guitar for a year and it is held up to a 2 year old (and an 8 year old that steals it all the time). I am super shocked with how durable it is. These kids have stepped on it, thrown it, and aggressively strummed the strings and it has held together very well.
The only complaint I have is that the song is VERY loud and it only has part of one song that it plays. The good thing is you don't have to wait or the song to end, you can push the button and it turns off. If the song gets annoying, do what I did and take the batteries out. The guitar is enough fun without the song playing over and over.

Can’t live without it, even if one note is off key

This is the second one we bought. The first was left out in the rain and it HAD to be replaced. I will say there is one problem that I thought may have just been issue with the first one. There is one note that is off key and it's the same note on this new one. Other than that it's great.
