Great replacement switch for shop vac.

I needed a new switch for my shop vac but it was discontinued by shop vac. I found this one that had a switch and a mounting for a cord. I removed the old switch from the shop vac. Did a modification of the shop vac top housing to fit the new switch body. Used hyper therm hot melt glue to install it in the spot. Extended the wires 4 inches and turned it on. Works and looks good.

I used this switch to connect a LED light that came with UK colored wiring to a standard US extension cord. The switch came with female spade connectors and boots. The switch is covered with protective boot. The switch operates the light I mounted to a CNC machine which create a lot of dust. I do not have to worry about particle build up with this device.
