They are difficult to open without getting them all over. The caps do not unscrew, just kind of pop off, but the tube is too soft and there is nowhere to hold to grip them with squeezing them, so when the cap finally comes off, you get a little (or big) squirt of glitter glue. It will probably get better with practice, but I got these to use with a bunch of kindergartens and I guess here's to hoping everything goes well"¦

I wish these had twist off caps

The colors are beautiful, they really stand out! I got 5 each of 17 different colors and 15 gold. That works for me. You have to be very careful pulling off the caps. These are very full and there is no place to hold them that doesn't result in a little product squeezing out. After some of the product is used, it's easier to pull the caps off without any mess. There is lots of glitter in this glue, unlike the cheap ones I got at the dollar store.
I caution you to squeeze slowly and carefully. The hole where the product comes out is a little too big to get just a small amount, if that's what you need. For some very small areas, I put the glitter glue on a plate, and applied it with a a tiny paint brush, or toothpick. Attached pics are my daughters Wizard of Oz shoes for a play, and a cereal mascot craft project. I do a lot of crafting, I'll be ordering again!
