I do have a DirecTV dish already and this is supposed to be compatible with it. It was raining very hard when I installed it, so have the common problem of the rain causing a line of sight issue, so I wasn't able to get this to work the way I wanted to. It is also compatible with YOu Tube TV so I'm not quite sure if I will be able to descramble it or what yet. The instruction manual was small and simple, so I am not even sure if I installed it right. I will revise my review if I can figure this out on the next sunny day.
