Works well. At first it was dropping stitches but after taping the legs to the table, it no longer drops stitches.

I got myself the smaller (and more expensive without coupons/sales) machine and it broke 2 of the needles themselves immediately, had to wait for a shipment of replacement pins, got 2 little trial runs before the gears were ripped to shreds. THIS MACHINE, is leagues and bounds better than that thing. This is 48 pins, first of all, 40 won't even make a hat for an adult. This machine, is smooth like butter and pretty quiet compared to the junk one from Michael's, I highly recommend. No it does not drop stitches when you get the feel for how to use it, it will feel like it doesn't work at first, it's not quite as easy as everyone makes it look until you figure it out, then it is as easy as everyone makes it work. I got mine home today and already have a pillow and a pair of pants done

I have purchased two of these machines since august 24th 2022. When I first received my machine I loved it. I made about 30 pumpkins and it was so fun. I graduated to hats. And then scarves. And I wish I could give this thing a higher rating but I can't place it more than 3-4 stars.
When it works great it's awesome. But it is so picky about the yarn and brands it will use. And sometimes it won't even like yarn of the same brand. It depends on the texture of the yarn and thickness. But even keeping it to what the machine can handle it just doesn't always play nice.
So I used this thing daily since the end of august and my machine broke early October. Its made with plastic pieces and sadly very easy to break. I tried to take it apart to clean it or see if anything was stuck in the gears but I didn't have any luck. I had to order a new one which was sadly $10 more than the old one I had.
Both machines did have the correct spelling of "˜Sentro' on it by the way. And I think it's just a matter of time before my counter dies on me (it died two days in the first time). So it is a good investment to get a different row counter while you are purchasing the machine off the bat.
I wish I could have salvaged mine. But when I googled best yarn brands to use with the machine and it went through 10 skeins like a dream and then constantly starting dropping stitches with the same yarn and same exact consistency I didn't feel I had much choice.
I really do love this little machine. It is so fun to use and I love the variety of products you can make with it, and the speed with which you can make it at. But be careful with it and do your research so you can minimize frustration and disappointment!

I use this almost every day to make hats, scarves, sweaters, bags etc. As someone who learned crochet first, I hated learning to knit but I liked the look of knit clothes more than crochet. This machine is super easy to learn after a bit of trial and error, and makes knit items far quicker than anyone could do by hand.

I have made so many projects with this already. I love it. Very easy to learn and works really well. I've seen people say the counter stops, but after 20 projects, I haven't had this issue. I've had the counter struggle to keep the numbers completely on the same line horizontally, but other than that no complaints.
