This is our second year purchasing this brand. Last year, we had no problems. This year, we had the worst ticks I've ever seen. We have a small wooded area behind our property, so I'm used to seeing them. My mostly outdoor cat still would get a tick here and there, but it definitely kept the majority off. Overall, I would buy again, but now I know it's not foolproof.

First, the downside: The packs are more difficult to open. Also, I wish there was a screw-on cap because there is no way to close off the top once you use it. I have a couple of cats that are always on the run when I try treating them so I might use most of the liquid but not all. I have to go back and catch the fur babies again! I'm the meantime, I have to find a safe place to stand up the container so it would not spill.

I choose Terva Pet mainly for it's comparability to Frontline Plus for Cats & it's price point. Feel it works for 3 weeks instead of 4 weeks. Still only apply it monthly as directed on packaging. Will continue to purchase Terva Pet in the future.

Thought I would try this product as I believe it is a "generic" form of Frontline. My 3 cats are strictly indoors and we have never had an issue with fleas or ticks. They had been receiving Advantage flea & tick prevention prior to switching to Tevrapet. I have not noticed any fleas. It is easy to use and I detect no scent.
