I can't help but wonder if the pricing is partially due to the aluminum(?) packaging that literally every strip comes in. Either way, they're a little bit of a pain to rip and it feels like a lot of wasteful material. You're supposed to test each package with test drops, so it'd be nice if they included an extra one instead of customers throwing away up to a dollar per package. In my latest package I noticed that it was mostly strips of 5, but there were a handful of individual strips (almost like they had a handful of single strips they needed to package up).

I use these to monitor my glucose and ketone levels as I continuey keto journey.

They arrived the day after ordering! They don't expire for a full year, which is great as the ones that shipped with the meter expired in two months. My only (mild) complaint is that the individual foil wrappers are quite difficult to tear open. But they do guarantee that the test strips remain fresh and accurate.
