My bird loves this birth bath! For the most part she thinks it's a water bowl. I know that I am at least providing her options. If she wants to get into the water she can. It can be hung in the cage. I simply sat it on cage bottom. She loves standing on top of it looking out the front of her clear house. Only the sides have bars for climbing and hanging stuff. I do clean the top multiple times per day because she gets it dirty walking and sitting on it but it's so easy to clean. I wipe it off. Then once a day remove it for cleaning in the sink to put fresh water in it. I found it slightly expensive but if it holds up I hope to use it for many years.

It's very practical, easy to put together so there are a couple of ways to attach it to the cage door. I use it daily and the canary jumps in like she has been waiting for her bath. That makes it a success for me.
