Great for Playstation 4 but sadly I cannot get it to work right with the ps5

Bought this for the ps5 I tending to use it with the pulse 3d headset sadly it didn't work shocker Sony made sure you needed their adapter. I tried my beats wireless headphones hoping that would work, this to ended in less then steller performance in terms of sound quality where not bad a wired connection yelled better range and bass. However when switching to ps4 the quality was to be expected,not sure why.

This does work. Kind of. If I am using it the sound constantly drops, however, or lags behind and I think it is because I also use a wireless controllers. Maybe if I used one connected to the playstation it won't do all that but that is never going to happen for me so I am not using this for now. I'll keep it in case I need it one day but for now it isn't doing me any good.

Was going to return it but eventually worker with PS5. Had to try multiple time with inserting it in and out then for some reason worked and does its job. There is a little bit of sound delay but not really significant.
IMPORTANT: You need to plug it into the USB closest to the right side

I've had this adapter for over a month. I tried and tried to get it to work, and could not for the life of me figure it out. I was trying with my AirPods, so I even bought a different brand to see if that was the issue. I could get it to pair to the dongle, but there was no sound.
I finally looked at some pictures from other reviews and saw someone had it plugged into a different USB port than I did (I had mine on the one towards the middle, near the disc opening). Once I moved it, VOILA it worked!!! The connection was terrible and spotty with the cheaper headphones I had, but so far it seems great with my AirPods. I don't really do any online multiplayer stuff, so I can't speak to how the microphone or audio lag and quality might be with that, but playing my regular game it seems great.
Only 4 stars because of the absolute headache I had trying to get it to work, but I hope this review might save someone the trouble!
