I love this case so much! I'm tempted to buy another in case this is ever discontinued! There is so much space in it, I only have a couple of pairs of scissors in the second compartment, everything else fits in the front half. I spent a lot of time comparing cases and things that drew me to this one were:
The fact that the outer shell is soft and not cheap plastic.
It only has one zipper for both compartments, some have two zippers and it's a guess on which side you need to open. This one has a little brand tag on the front which makes it easy to tell which side you're opening and you just flip the middle portion to get to the back half.
Another reviewer mentioned how this was the only case they saw with plastic pockets rather than mesh. That was ultimately what sealed the deal for me. I hadn't even considered that and it would have been super annoying to get all of my stitch markers constantly hooked on mesh and probably rip it.
One modification I made was adding a staple to one of the elastic pieces. I use a darning needle to hide my ends and my original case had a little opening just like it to slide my needle in. I'm sure it would be super easy to stitch for aesthetic purposes but I didn't feel like getting my machine out.
I use the regular metal hooks and the slots are larger, so I double up on the amount of hooks per slot. My older case had one slot sized for each hook which meant keeping them in order. That's fine for most but I have the colors of my hooks memorized so I don't even need to check the size. The fact that the slots are larger would allow for the people who use the thicker ergonomic sized hooks. And there are a couple of pockets in the very back which perfectly fit my larger scissors I use for pom pom trimming.

This case is perfect for my crochet hooks and accessories. It holds my ergonomic hooks, and the clear plastic pockets that zip close for holding accessories is perfect. Others I looked at had mesh pockets which would catch stitch markers, or very deep ones. Having two means they aren't too deep and everything I store in them is easily accessible.

I love the color. I love the fabric. I love the ease of the zipper. If there was anything that I wanted it would be more places for more hooks for more sizes.
