As like many of you, my water turtle is the ultimate ninja turtle and will escape any vicinity just give the time. To help, my Husband previously custom designed a simple turtle tank lid. With this product, he modified it and walah! This is the final set up, well at least until the next growth spurt!
Definitely worth the purchase! The ramp is a bit steep"” but with a little tank accessory added for a mini boost did help him out. Turtle was on the ramp in no time. The extra clips help but not needed. I would recommend this product for the sturdiness and size! Plenty of room for the turtle to roam out of water in its little dry penthouse. Lol

I wish I bought it sooner. I kept reading that it wasn't great for musk turtles because they aren't big baskers. I went for it and I'm glad I did. We thought we were going to have to get him a whole new set up but just popped this on top of his existing tank and it freed up so much space. He often just hangs out on the deck half in the water but he is very happy. He also likes to swim in the shade and hang out on the dock under the basking dock. Really glad we purchased. Because the lights shine onto the dock, we are getting way less algae in the tank too so easier tank cleanings!

I bought one previously 8 or 9 years ago, but decided to buy a new one since it's started to fade a little and even had a small crack after nearly a decade of use. My turtle doesn't like to climb onto the land much, but needs to and this is great for letting her bask without taking away her tank space. The bottom little attachment works great too, and she frequently likes to lie there so she can be close to the surface but still remain underwater. If you have a turtle, this is probably the single best accessory you can buy for them. It could probably be sold a little cheaper, but it's not like it costs that much, especially for many years of use. I don't use the clear plastic dome, though since she only tried to climb out once.

This is my favorite turtle product that I have ever purchased. Not only was it a super simple and easy setup, but my turtle is obsessed with it. She spends hours each day up in the basking area and not only does she have much more space to bask but she loves to look out from the clear acrylic and has more swimming space in her aquarium. She's about 5.5" long and 4" wide and fits with plenty of space up the ramp. She also loves the ledge beneath the basking loft and sleeps there each night.
