I had a problem with the first shipment, but once I had it in my possession, it was super fast on downloads, has a huge 2T hard drive, and is small enough to carry and hide in a small space. It is so small compared to the size of my old ones, which were the size of a modem today. That was for storage, but this is 4x as large with 2T and is the size of a credit card, but a little thicker. And the company makes superior products.

I'm a computer professional with a computer science degree and a major gearhead. I naïvely tried using several other USB cables and found that with ONE computer (out of four) the drive wouldn't be recognized at all! It drove me nuts until I found a few other people on the web with the same issue, which resolved when using the included cable. So just be warned that you're way better off using the included cable or maybe a very high-end Lightning cable, but that you may run into some (likely rare) compatibility issues with a normal USB-C cable. Beyond that a fantastic product and good value.

My only complaint is the price. I saw it listed for $180 below the listing I was looking at for $150 so I obviously ordered from the listing for $150. But I come on here to leave a review and it is now $140 just 2 days later. Also it's an extra $10 for the 2 colors that aren't black. What's up with that?. Anyways"¦ don't over pay. I have the 2T version. Very happy so far.
