This dryer is light enough and convenient to travel with. It is a bit loud and does take some time to dry clothes especially if you put in a few pieces of clothes. It gets very hot so keep kids away. All that being said we were happy to have this with us for our last family vacation. I would recommend.

I like to do international travel tours, where you stay in one place for only a day or two. That makes it hard to have hotel laundry done. I love having this dryer along, since I can make sure that hand-washed clothes are dry and not damp the next day. It's lightweight, with quick set-up and take-down. It's great for underwear, socks, lightweight shorts or pants, and tops. Some things to note:
1. It does not have UL or CE labels. This is something of a safety red flag. It doesn't mean it can't operate safely, but it does mean it probably hasn't been tested. Another commenter mentioned it doesn't have a safety shutoff. I try to make sure it is standing in a stable location and keep the heater away from drapes or other fabrics. If I can, I will put it in the hotel bathroom where there is a hard floor.
2. It does not have a built-in voltage converter. For international travel, make sure the converter you buy is rated to handle the power that this consumes. I use a Hyted 2000 Watt Travel Adapter/Converter.
3. Roll clothes in a towel before putting them in to dry. The dryer they go in, the better this will work. I will put in socks, underwear, and some lightweight capris all on hangers, and set the 3 hour timer, and normally everything will get dry.
