This telescope is so cool! You could see the moon really clearly, and just to be clear don't use it to see the sun, your eyes will be in sharp pain if you do. It also has a phone holder! You can take pictures of what you spot from the telescope. There is one that you could zoom in and out to try and spot the moon. When you first take a glance at the moon from the telescope it is just a beautiful way to experience something new in your life. For my family its just beautiful to see the moon close up from the telescope.

The media could not be loaded. It comes with clear user manual and tutorial videos, pretty easy to install it and get it work. The optical quality is nice along with a handy phone adapter. The 70mm aperture is big enough for moon watch as been advertised and can handle scenic watching outdoor as well. My family love its low profile design, had fun with kids after we set it up together, good gift.

My kids love it and we took sometime to figure out how to get the best photos, would love to share some good tricks:
1. Keep the tripod at a lower height so it will be more stable;
2. Always use the time-lapse feature on your phone for either 3 or 10 seconds, in this way the telescope and the phone will remain stable and the moon photo will be sharp and amazing.
3. Be gentle on pressue the shutter, for less shake
4. Use iPhone camera's zoom in feature for larger details on the moon, definately better result that those barlow eyepieces (pay attention to camera change when zoom in, might need to adjust the camera hole on the phone adapter).
I posted some images and videos we had for the moon, have fun on the moon watching lol.

Okay, so first time buying a scope for someone who has never really star gazed before... but this was the perfect buy! It went together so easily, even my Dad could figure it out without fully reading instructions! It's very sturdy, though it fits tilt if you have a heavier phone attached. The focus was really easy to understand once you get a target and it's great st looking at the moon!! Or any closer to earth objects; satellites, meteor showers, auroras, noctelucent clouds. It's been a fun adventure for my Dad as he's retired now and looking for things to fill up his time â'¡ this also is an affordable option for beginners! Not incredibly high performance, but gets the job done for closer objects.
