I Love this! I think the issue a lot of people have these slice guides, its that people have the bottom put in upside down....if it's upside down, it won't slice all the way through the bottom of the bread. This works just as advertised!

My favorite part about this slicer is the crumb tray -- it makes cleanup easy. It offers three slice width choices. This is confusing at first -- you look at it and think you should just put the loaf in and slice the whole thing, but no. You put the guide panel in at the width you prefer, slice there, and move the loaf as necessary. You need a long bread knife (my favorite bread knife is too short for this). I like that it folds down flat for storage. Easy to clean.

The product is great for us who make our own loads of bread. It is durable, easy to clean and easy to use. The only down fall is that it is wide for your average bread so the bread does slide side to side. Also, it is a little too wide for your average bread knife. The knife also comes out of the slot as you are cutting the bread. Not a deal breaker, but aggravating when you are trying to cut the bread and the knife hits the bamboo dividers.
