This is a good looking snitch with amazing workmanship. The centerpiece is heavy, but the fidget function works smoothly. I wouldn't drop it on hard floors, there is a chance the wings might break/crack, but as long as it's a carpeted surface, it's safe. This is definitely not meant for rough play/handling. My 9 year old who is working through Harry Potter book #1 has been enjoying this snitch a ton, both on and off reading.
