It was not hard to put together. The item has a radio that is not worth trying to get playing since the child is not interested in anything but driving it. I'm glad the headlights are on separate switch so as not to wear down the battery. The problem is the remote. It s works but may stop if you stop the car and try to get it going again. Better if the child can push the gas pedal while you walk along side and adjust the steering wheel once in a while

This is an awesome little truck and my grandson absolutely loves it. It took less than an hour to assemble. The instructions were not exactly clear, but common sense and pictures made assembly a breeze. The remote works beautifully - my son has as much fun as my grandson. The truck also comes with bells and whistles most cars don't come with! An FM radio, Aux port to connect an MP3 player or phone and a USB port for connecting an MP3 player. The digital display shows the volume of the radio/aux as well as the horn and engine sounds which can be lowered or raised. Honestly, I'm jealous, I wish I had one of these as a kid!
