I like this product and usually only use it when it's a LONG grocery trip. I usually set it up and put blankets so he could be comfortable in those uncomfortable cart seats. If it's a quick trip I just clean the cart and put baby in without using this thing. Do you really need it?? Maybe, maybe not. You can easily just use your own blankets

Definitely loved this product and had to get it love it for my little. Only down fall is the straps do come off and I lost one while loading it back into the bag so now have no seat belt for my little boy. I'd suggest seeing the straps to the cover so you don't lose part like I did. But definitely love the cover it has spots to hang toys and has a spot for your phone so littles can enjoy a video.
