I do recommend this tub but...

So I like that, as a plus size girl, I'm able to fit in this mostly comfortably. I've read others say that this uses a lot of water, but I only need to fill this half way in order for the water to reach my shoulders once I sit down.
The pillow that comes with it works best with a little water in it, but don't fill it completely. I did buy a Cheap small doughnut float to sit on instead as I found that more comfortable.
This tub seems to be made well and is easy to put together and take apart. It's nice that the cover that comes with it also does fit the tub as well as the rest of the parts needed
That said, I did just have a problem... while sitting in it, it suddenly started tipping down to the side and took me with it, causing me to fall on my side, and water to go all over the floor.bthis was only the 3rd time I've used it, so that's very disappointing. Looking at it, it seems that one of the pipes has poked through the sleeve top, causing the tilt. This may have been avoided if I double checked that it was sitting flat before I got in, but I failed to notice it wasn't before it was already filled.
So I do suggest this tub, as long as you always double check it is flat on the bottom and level.

OK before I get into anything I just want to say this is amazing.
It doesn't really come with instructions but it's pretty Easy to assemble. Putting the hoop in at the top Is a little tricky but doable. I can't speak to breaking it down because I haven't done that yet. I'm currently sitting and taking a bath while writing this review. It's my 2nd bath. I'm 5'2 and can sit in it cross legged and the water comes up to my neck, I can also sit in it with my knees bent. It fills up in 10 to 15 minutes and holds heat really well. I was a little nervous because of some of the reviews about leaks or seams breaking, but I haven't had that problem yet. There is a little mat built-in so it's not hard to sit on. It fits easily in my shower, which is smaller than most. Honestly for these reasons I feel like it's better than a regular bath. Uses less water, I'm fully submerged, it's cushioned. I mean really what more can you ask for? Can't wait for my husband, who is away on business, to try it out. For the price, I don't know that you could really do better. At the end of a stressful day, this is the perfect way to decompress.

Easy to put together, keeps water warm once it's in there.
Fits me and me only. It's a little snug set up inside a standard tub, but it does fit. Actually same volume as a typical tub...just sitting up instead of semi reclining! I'm guessing 25-35 gallons? (Filled with 5-7 5gal home depot buckets since the sides are much higher than the tub spout)
Couple of spa tub hacks: i got tub liners for easier cleanup, and a pool heater to save on my hot water expenditures...also make sure your gasket is sealed properly as well!
My legs felt like warm jelly trying to get up and out so be careful, as it does have higher sides than a typical tub.
It's probably easy to overheat, sounds crazy but keep ice water nearby! The floating pillow looks flimsy but it does the trick; much harder to drown if you fall asleep in it (and you will/will want to!)
If you are long or have poor circulation your legs may cramp up a little, but I had no problems.
Seems like the perfect way to unwind or sweat out a fever even, if you had to. It's not a birthing pool, but I could see it being used for that. Or soaking laundry, or just holding captured water...Or great for ATTENDED children! Their own personal pool!

So my only gripe with this product is that the instructions are too vague. It doesn't explain very well what you're supposed to do, the only way I was able to set it up properly was by coming here and looking at the pictures so I could guess just where the parts were supposed to go. But once it's set up, it works very well. It does fold up pretty easily which is very convenient for me. I haven't had any leaks , but then again I've only used it once or twice . It's pretty comfortable once it's filled up too.
