These hot water bottles are perfect, they don't leak and are easy to use. I put water in at 140 F and put them in my bed - my bedroom doesn't have heat. Two of them are perfect for a cozy night.

Honestly, snuggling up to a hot water bottle wearing a super soft, cute, and comfy sweater of its own is an amazing feeling when you're in pain. The bottle itself works as intended and is nice, but the little sweater and its pompoms improve my morale a whole lot in addition to the pain relief.
I will say that the water bottle is a little bit too thick and insulated for the hot water from the faucet to make it through enough to help with pain, but if you heat some water (not to boiling ofc, but about 2/3rds of the way there) in a kettle, it works very nicely. â'¥

I've been using this Hot Water bottle for more than a decade. My first one I left in a bed at a motel! I immediately ordered another one and had it sent to my next hotel. I just ordered my 4th one as my 2nd one is going on 5 years and I will retire it as eventually it may leak. I put 4 cups of very hot water in it about 2 hours before bedtime and place it under the covers at the foot of my bed with a blanket over it. I get warmth all night long.
Last night my left thigh was painful from sleeping on it. I had a second hot water bottle and placed it on that as I slept on my right side. It helped as I'm pain-free now. I'm using 2 per night in the winter and I'm glad I am. Makes my bed very cozy and I'm a petite senior with low body fat, so this helps immensely.
The Hot Water bottle had been very durable for me. Once I had a small leak because I didn't screw the top tight enough. It hasn't happened since.
I have a knit cover and I just ordered a fleece teddy bear one. Hope the fleece retains the heat as well as the knitted one.
