This is very well built although the chassis is a touch flimsy for those with high end tastes. But unlike many strips that claim to filter your power, this one actually does as a look under the hood will attest. Dozens of capacitors and induction coils are in there, and very happily, the sequencer works perfectly even under external power (unlike the Pyle). This means you can plug one of these into another and have five sequence points in tandem.

The minus with this unit? The one I got made a faint humming noise, probably from one of the two chokes inside. Most people will never hear this but I could, and sadly I sent it back. Maybe some of them have better dampening or better chokes that don't acoustically hum.

Still I will award five stars for conditioning maybe better than the comparable Furman. Do you need that? Probably not, as your modern gear's power supplies already filter nearly everything Im sure. Maybe with old or crummy gear that can't. For solving AC line hum issues, learn about star grounding and/or get Ebtech HumX isolation transformers. This Soundavo filters line interference, it doesn't isolate.

When I receive the new unit I thought well looks nice. I'll hook it up and when I turned it on, I was surprised I mean really surprised.

When I turned on the system, I have a LG laser projector, and Marantz cinema Soundsystem. It really shocked me how different cleaner, clearer and louder I had to turn the volume down as what I was experiencing was amazing.
I took a deep breath and paused to enjoy what I had just installed for my surround-sound theater

Good for the money. Seems well designed and constructed. Reduced the noise interference I was experiencing through my audio system, but some interference remains audible.

I'm looking for other power conditioner that has AC protection, filtering and a sequencer function for my home entertainment system, which are thousands of dollars of Hi-Fi audio equipment setup. I use it to hook up with my Emotiva power amplifier, Parasound preamp and DAC, the factory default 3 second delay time between each zone is perfect to allow my equipment turning On or Off in right order without hearing the Pop noise and avoid the damage risk.

I love the idea on those LED indicators on the front panel that shown zone status, wiring fault, abnormal voltage, breaker open, also other plus for the Incoming AC line voltage display, really professional design and looks great with my sound system setup. The pullout LED light is a nice feature also, you can set it for high and low, or off.

I have already bought the Panamax and Furman units in the past, they're good, and I was consider to purchase them before order this product. But after comparing the spec, feature and price, I decide to give a try and test the quality of this unit (the worst case, I can just return it if I don't like), but having use it for 2 weeks I really love this power rack, it's well built and will give you clean power for your audio and video gear. Great performance, no issues, it works as advertised. I think the manufacturer who made this product has good experience for the power conditioner, so I will keep it and also might buy some of products from this brand in the future.

I am very pleased with the overall value proposition of this product. I have Furman equipment in my set-up, so I speak from the perspective of hands-on comparatives. Congratulations to the engineers, ops and finance folks of Soundova! My only wish would be that there was an ON/OFF or Dimmer switch for the front voltmeter (said voltmeter seems to be fairly accurate and responsive, by the way).
