I use this spray for gnats/fruit flys. The spray is very strong smelling so be careful around anyone with respiratory concerns however, the spring works very well.

This spray smells pretty good but a little strong mint. It's not chemical at all. I spray got it in my eyes. I washed my eyes a few times but stopped and have no issues. My pets and food are safe. I've now used 8 bottles over time. The only issue I have is the residue on the floor but that would be with any spray. I dislike killing anything even fruit flies and moths but this does it instantly.
