I purchased a Twin XL Sounds Asleep Air Mattress through Amazon in Dec 2023. The mattress was great for the first few months, used only when needed. We would use it for 3-4 days then deflate it and put it away. Around April, I found that it stopped retaining air. At first, it held air for about 6 hours before deflating, then down to only 2 hours. I tried the soapy water trick but could not find any visible leak or tear on the mattress. I contacted SoundAsleep customer service in May (their contat info is easy to find), and within a day, Casey got back to me. Due to the working hours, I was not able to connect with Casey over the phone (except for leaving voice mails), so I emailed the order details as requested. Right away, Casey replied saying a replacement had been ordered and was being shipped to me. It was an unexpected surprise. I got the replacement a week after I contacted customer service, and have used it only once since then. So far, the replacement is working well.

Have had this mattress for a little over a year.

Used it a few nights (5 or 6) August of 2023 and it did well and maintained its firmness through the night, deflating only mildly. Used it again in November of 2023 and it didn't hold up as well. It inflated well, however, within about 10 or 15 minutes, with no one on the mattress it began deflating and needed to be reinflated for firmness. After a few hours, it felt like being on a squishy air toy and was challenging to get up from the mattress"”work up quite sunk in. We need to use it again in a couple of weeks, so did an inspection for any leaks that we might patch. No leaks have been detected and so we are now pretty clueless about what may have happened. We're a few weeks past the year mark of buying, so the warranty has lapsed. Will purchase a new air mattress for the upcoming need.

Should note that inflation and deflation time are fairly quick and that the mattress is comfortable, when firm that is. Just wish we'd gotten more than 10 or 12 nights of use out of it.

I purchased this in July 2023 when I saw a roach scurrying under my bed, and was unable to find it. Needless to say, I slept on this air mattress for 2+ weeks in my living room, and I just left it inflated the entire time. (Eventually found it, but I ended up going over kill on insecticides, and nothing survived. Total overreaction on my part. But hey, I'm sure someone can relate.) I then put it away neatly, and there it stayed until mid-November.

Normally, I'm not one to leave reviews motivated purely by customer service. But this is an exception. The customer service is actually amazing, which let's be honest, is probably unexpected for most of those about to buy an air mattress on Amazon. I had family stay with me for 3.5 months, and this was what they slept on. For about 3 months, it was aired up, slept on, and neatly put away. Things were perfect. Until suddenly they weren't, when I walked into my living room to find my guest sinking deeply into a half deflated air mattress. Ultimately, we found the leak (the seam surrounding the air pump & air deflator) and I tried to patch it with the included kit, but unfortunately to no avail. Just as I was going to buy a new one, I realized that technically it was still under the manufacturer warranty. So, like many other fine folks I decided to at least try it out, worst case they say no, best case I save potentially $100+ and don't have to shop around again. Needless to say, my air mattress was replaced with very few questions asked. It was a simple and straightforward solution, and I got the replacement fast. The new air mattress wasn't holding air quite like the first one did, and unfortunately after a week we could tell we must've not got one of the better ones. Customer service followed up with us, and sent out a second replacement immediately. Again, it arrived in less than a week. I've been amazed by customer service from time to time, but never quite sure I've been this amazed (because this was the one time I really didn't expect it.) In reality, the air mattress probably should've been kept inflated instead of airing it up, deflating it, and then storing it away neatly every 18-24 hours. I believe my guest was unnecessarily rough when deflating the mattress, and that's what led to the failure in the seam by the air inflator. With normal use, I doubt that I would've had any issues. With this second air mattress replacement, I only just received it, and my family member who was an extended stay guest had finally returned home. So, I haven't really had the chance to test it out, but it has my confidence 100%. I would not only buy another one, I would actively recommend this specific brand because of the comfort, and the customer service. Very comfortable air mattress, quick and easy to inflate. Once inflated, it stayed inflated without need of more air on the second night of use. Sadly on the third night of use it sprung a leak and slowly deflated through the night. The kind folks at Sound Asleep Dream Series Luxury Air Mattress have sent us a new one to replace the leaker, however, and so, with the luck of the wind this next one will remain comfortable, comforting, and inflated. For it is, truly, a most comfortable air mattress, on which a series of luxury dreams may greet your sound sleep.
