My washer, even when leaving the door vented by the door magnet still gets a little mold around the rubber piece. I was soaking a rag in bleach and leaving it, but it was way too strong and left the entire household in danger because that's not good to breathe in.

This is a gel which you can very precisely dab onto the moldy area. It's still a bleach, but since you use so little of it and it's a gel rather than straight bleach, it's much better. I had my doubts, but after leaving it on for a few hours with the door open, and then wiping it down with a cleaning rag, it really did do the trick. Definitely a must have in my laundry room!

I followed the directions and put it on and let it sit for hours. I forgot to take a before picture but I found an area that I did not put the product on to show you what the entire rim looked like before! I have tried numerous products over the years and the black mold would not budge. My washer (minus the area I missed in the seam!) looks brand new!! this stuff is amazing!!!!

I've used this product twice now to treat a front-loader gasket with moldy build-up. The product didn't return the gasket back to new - I didn't expect it to - but the product (and some elbow grease) made a significant improvement. I applied the product liberally to the treated area and let it sit for about 6 hours before scrubbing. RECOMMEND: Use a toothbrush or similar to get into the smaller folds of the gasket, and don't forget to wash the upper portion of the gasket as well as the lower portion. The lower portion is easy to see, the upper may surprise you how "gunky" it can get, too. Good Luck!

Easy to use, but does require some elbow grease.

I have an electrolux front load washing machine and despite diligently leaving the door open whenever the washing machine isn't in use it's developed a lot of mold on the rubber seal in the 3 years we've had the machine. I've tried every remedy online to no avail and was looking into getting the seal replaced when I came across this product. Like others suggested I left it on overnight, wiped the excess off with a microfiber towel and then ran two clean cycles on the machine to make sure all the gel was out before washing clothes. I was so impressed with all the mold it got out! See the before and after picture - this was just the main part of the seal. I didn't take pictures of how when you pulled back the seal further there was another large moldy spot. The gel got rid of 98% of it!! I'm going to try using it again on few smaller remaining spots as I think they just got missed when I applied it the first time (the seal was covered in splotchy mold so it was tricky making sure I covered them all). I liked how the gel was thick so even applying to the slides or top of the circular seal the product stayed in place. Nice to know this is an option to clean the washing machine seals!

Now to try to reduce the humidity in my laundry room to prevent this moldy build up..
