Simply the best coffee grinder I have ever had. Love it. Can grind coarse or powder fine.

This unit grinds spices easily. Pulsing can get you to a good coarse grind even with a mix of dry spices. Thereafter, 15 second grinds will pulverize. Great that you have clear inner and outer lids so you can see the results as you proceed, that is critical for achieving the desired level of particle size. Don't by another unit that does not have this feature.

I ordered this little grinder with the extra grinding cup about a year ago. I use it daily and it's still going strong. I searched forever for an electric grinder with minimal plastic, and ended up getting this one. There is some plastic in the machine itself, and the lid on the cup is plastic, but the cup and blades are metal, so there is minimal contact between the food and the plastic. It also does a great job of evenly grinding coffee beans, and the other cup works well for spices and other dry goods. I wish the cord was auto-retractable (there is a spot at the bottom to manually wind it), but otherwise this has been a great grinder!

I like how easy it is to use by just pressing lid down. And super easy to keep clean. It grinds a small amount but that's what I wanted. Enough for 2 good sized cups. However no matter what I do the grind is either too fine (like dust) or if I run a bit shorter amount of time there are some large pieces of unground coffee.

I got this as my old grinder died after 20 years. I always was bothered that the cup did not come out. I bought this model as it had that feature - and is dishwasher safe on top rack. I use my grinder for several things, spices, dog food, coffee and whatever else needs to be grinded. It was a pain to have to clean older models where you could not remove the cup. I also like the feature that the inside cup has a lid and the grinding action is generated by a larger cap you fit around the cup and you just push down - no buttons to line up or things to break. You can just remove the cup once ground and pour into your dish. The cup is easily set into the grinding base by a slight twist to lock into place. I'm very happy with this grinder.

Only improvement, I'd sell with 2 cups... and it would be nice if the cup was just a little bit bigger - but I've been able to use it for coffee and it grinds enough for 6 cups.
