So this was bought to replace the failed compression release component of the camshaft that commonly breaks after normal use. if you are quite handy and have been inside an engine before, it is not too hard of a job. We spend more time dismounting the motor from the mower than we did breaking down and rebuilding the engine. After a few hours use, the mower seems to be running fine and working as normal. The biggest complaint was the main gasket came crammed in the box. it was difficult to get it to lay down and not wrinkle during reassembly. As a note, the valve cover will need to be removed and the valves adjusted as part of this process. there is NO valve cover gasket with this kit, so we ended up making one out of RTV.
