Could it be? A Carter YF/YFA replacement for your 300 six for only $88?!?! I bought this carb on a whim to see if a cheap knockoff would be less trouble than rebuilding the original. I was blown away - the thing bolted right up and works perfect. I only had to adjust idle speed and mixture. Truck starts better hot and cold, idles better, and the off-idle transition is much smoother as well. Quality is as good/better than the original Carter part, and it comes with a couple new tricks in the throttle plate/idle screw design. If you're thinking about it for your Ford 300, just pull the trigger! You won't regret it
