This casserole dish set is heavy since it is stoneware/pottery. But it is beautiful! And things cook evenly in these pans. I haven't dropped either of them yet but given that they are stoneware, I would expect them to chip pretty easily if dropped. More stuck to them than I would have expected given that I used baking spray on them but it wasn't very difficult to remove with a sponge, dish soap and water.

Just received these and have already used both dishes. I am thrilled! Like another reviewer, I baked a cinnamon coffee cake in one and it didn't stick, even without oiling the dish first! It also cooked evenly without burning and cleaned up super easily. They are a nice weight, thick & solid enough that they feel substantial and sturdy but not too heavy. If these hold up I'll be buying other similar items from this company. Very pleased so far.
