This worked as advertised and fixed the clear coat issues I had with my boat haul. However, you need to take into consideration temperature and humidity when working with this product. Humidity seemed to affect this product more than temperature, but both will determine how much hardener ( MEKP) will be required. I suggest you mix a test batch before tackling your project. Other than that it is very easy to work with.

Once I figured out to add 12 drops of MEKP catalyst to each once of clear coat it was easy.. make sure to buy a clear plastic paint measurement cup at Homedepot with ounces on the side and mix small amounts of pant adding the catalyst because once it starts setting up your done with that batch.. I did 2 to 4 ounces at a time.. did an 8 ounce once and lost 4 ounces because it setup before I could paint it.. just bought a bunch of cheep brushes and 5 measuring cups and was able to paint a quart without trouble.

Great gel for what it is shoots in the gun good but unless you are really good with pigment and color match that makes it's tough. Didn't have an issue with sanding it down nor kicking too fast. Great value for waxed gel than most places.
