Bought this to replace my husband's old juice that we use in our outdoor bar. Great purchase. Heavy duty & sturdy. Will get plenty of use making orange crushes!

Juices so easily. Even with the arthritis in my hands I can use this.

We believe in good nutrition. No packaged, processed foods here. The simpler the better. It's basic but at the same time a work of art for it is very sturdy and will outlive us all more than likely. Fresh squeezed orange juice every morning, even if the electric were to go out. Lol! It's easy to clean with very little assembly to prep for the orange. If you love the basics in life, you will be impressed.

This is a great little juicer. I've used dedicated electric juicers, attachments for our Kitchenaid mixer, and extractors, nothing does as good a job. We have a small fast food restaurant and serve fresh squeezed lemonade. We process around 30-40 lemons/day. This is perfect. With our fancy bells and whistles electric juicer, it would take at least a minute or more to squeeze a lemon completely. With this baby, it is about 15 seconds. Pop the half lemon on the cone, lower the handle raise the handle - done. I've seen reviews down-rating it because of the need to stabilize it with one hand and work the handle with the other. Not true. It comes with rubber feet as well as suction cup feet. I replaced the rubber feet with the suction cups and put it on a stainless steel table - standard food service work table. The suction cups hold it firmly. One-hand operation. If it is being used on a rough surface or with the rubber feet, then yes, you will have to stabilize it slightly. The lever system is extremely sturdy. I like this system much better than the rack and pinion gear types. Aside from it being much more sturdy, the handle locks in the down position so if you want to get the maximum juice from your fruit, you can just leave the handle in the down position for 15-20 seconds without applying any additional effort - not possible with a gear system. Keep your expectations real. If your operation requires you to process a hundred or more fruit per day you are probably going to want an automatic electric machine for multiple thousands of dollars. If you are doing, say, 50 or so per day, you can't go wrong with this one. I suspect we will be using this for years to come.

This juicer was a great purchase for us. We use it daily to squeeze oranges, lemons, and limes. It squeezes every last drop from the fruit and cleans up easily. I suggest you hold the back bar with one hand while bringing down the handle with the other. If you do this, you'll have no problems. Also, if you don't have great hand strength, this is a must have juicer!
