I usually wear a Large in bottoms, and after reading the reviews which said the skirt ran small, I decided to size up and get an XL. The XL fit like a Large and looked like a medium honestly. Absolutely no stretch in the skirt. I was able to get it on, but I could've definitely used at least an inch or 2 of wiggle room in the waist area. I had to watch what I ate the entire week just so I wouldn't be too bloated to fit the skirt. The skirt itself has built in shorts but due to the fact that the skirt fit so small, the shorts rode up and basically fit me like cheeky panties. Although the skirt doesn't stretch, the built in shorts had some stretch to it. Super cute skirt and will definitely complete whatever look you're going for, but please be aware that it runs small. Size up one or even 2 sizes to be safe.
