Worked great with my stepson who is a hockey goalie. I read that you should do a slap shot to make sure it bursts but when he did that, it exploded right away. I wouldn't do a slap shot if your are hitting it at a board like we were.

We had some confetti cannons as a backup in case something went wrong, but honestly they weren't even necessary. I'm very glad by bro and sis-in-law chose something like this, which will wash away in the first rain (or with a quick hose-down) and had no risk of fire or environmental hazard. Great product.
