I recently redocorated in my home and didn't want the traditional Christmas colors clashing with my current color scheme. I decided to try something different and the ornaments looks great! Can't wait to put it all together!

I didn't want a really dark navy blue, but these are lighter than I had hoped. They're not a cobalt or electric blue, but they are a little lighter than a royal blue. Some have a satin finish, some shiny, and some are textured. Be warned, they are not all exactly the same color, but they're close enough to work. I love that there are varying sizes and designs in one box. I decided to keep them. I'm not going to do anything with them anymore this Christmas, but I may just paint them next year. Blue ornaments were hard to find this year, but they reduced the price so I ordered them. If you want navy blue ornaments these aren't for you.

These were far better than expected! The blue is far more vibrant and more beautiful than the seller's photo on Amazon. After reading the bad reviews, I was worried but fortunately I had none of the problems mentioned by others. Some of the balls had the string tucked under the plastic top piece but that was very easy to fix by snapping off the top and readjusting. The seam isn't especially visible. The paint is nicely done and mine had no scratches or blemishes. They are lightweight so won't sag branches and are sturdy so won't shatter if accidentally dropped. They are far better than dollar store type quality and look really chic. Also, mine came pre-strung with silver string but a pack of gold string was included. That was most likely for those who would prefer a different color to hang them with.

The matte balls look indistinguishable from the glass balls that I already had. My 2 blue glass bulbs are in the center of the photo with the S hooks so that you can make a comparison.

The shiny balls have a perfect amount of shine without being over the top.

The textured balls are all very pretty. I hadn't expected to like the "disco ball" type but it is actually very beautiful and chic looking and not at all tacky.

I won't keep the glitter balls and hadn't planned to when I purchased the set. Glitter has a way of spreading all over the house and still showing up months later. But, otherwise I liked all of the other 5 designs.

These balls completely covered the front of my tree and there was enough for the sides too. For completely simple and coordinated decorating, a box or two of these would be all you would need for a perfectly beautiful and balanced looking tree.

I would recommend this set and I am very happy with my purchase.

I wanted to come back and leave a review for others who may be in a similar situation. We have our first ever kittens and I was concerned about our usual Christmas tree filled with sentimental (and fragile) treasures from a safety and sentimental standpoint. We've done puppies with no problem, but kittens seemed like it could be a disaster, so I was looking for something both safe for them and for me.
These ornaments were perfect. We purchased one package each of the Champagne and the dark Navy blue for our approximately 7.5' tree, and I made garland out of bias cut soft faux fur that I have for another project - the perfect amount of ornaments (I had two leftover of each color) and a nice variety of textures and looks. I didn't love the sort of "disco ball" pattern at all, so I used those on the back of the tree.
I decorated with more larger ones toward the bottom of the tree, mixed with medium size, and as it rose, more of medium and small, and also tried to have the larger somewhat deeper in the tree, with the smaller bulbs closer to the ends of the branches.
The effect overall was really quite beautiful. We used a brushed silver tree collar, and I didn't find the color difference distracting or disturbing.
The champagne color bulbs were softer, slightly slivery gold - just right for being gold without looking tacky.
We had a few tops that had the string tangled in the top, and one or two strings that were either not attached or needed to be re-tied, but nothing difficult and they all looked nice, I thought much more expensive looking than the price.
I'm so glad we got to have lovely decorations without stress! Highly recommend.
