First things first: I received my bag today and THERE'S NO SMELL! I searched all through it, every pocket and zipper and there aren't any of the little silica packets anywhere AND there is no odor whatsoever. I stuck my face inside it and it just smells like a department store. I got the medium size brown with black gunmetal hardware and it's a nice looking purse for the money. The zippers really do glide easily. The interior is a darker gray color and similar to umbrella material. I don't find it "loud" as others have, just mildly more noisy than cotton lining would be. The lining does seem a little slack so I'm hoping I can keep it out of the zippers. I am pleased with the amount of pockets inside and out. The purse itself is much lighter weight than I thought it would be, which is good.
The one thing I do not like about this bag is the handle. It's cheap, it's squeaky, and it is not removable like the crossbody strap is. It is stiff and just kind of "there" and in the way when entering the bag. It doesn't relax and fall away, it just stands there awkwardly. It also seems like it will start to crack and fray pretty quickly with use. So, I took some scissors and cut it off. I have a nice leather handle from another bag that I clipped onto this one and now it looks perfect.
Overall, I think this is a sharp looking purse at a great price, and we will see how long it lasts. It's such a great price that I may get another one in a cooler color. I'll give this one a few months of daily use first and see how it holds up.
UPDATE: I am now strangely obsessed with this bag. So much so that I am trying to decide which other color to order it in. I really love it. I am NOT a person who needs or enjoys a large bag, but this one in medium is perfect for me and has enough extra room in it to achieve the "slouchy" look I was after, without being too much. The lining is staying put and no issues at all with zippers, they are smooth and buttery. Normally I can't stand a bag that has the short strap and the crossbody, but am loving the look of it on this one AND the functionality. Took this bag on an out-of-state trip and it was perfect. I entered the bag numerous times and realized I love all the pockets and have a place for each of my items. Things stay in place nicely. I can see myself having this bag in 2 or 3 colors and swapping out with the seasons or just outfits year-round. I'm not sure I've ever loved a purse this much, and in the past few years I have purchased some very expensive designer bags, which are now living in my closet. If you are considering ordering this purse, just get it. You will probably love it!

Like many products created for women, we all have persnickety likes and dislikes, don't we? What I love about this bag, you may hate. I need a bag to hold "STUFF"! (That's said in a deep bass voice) You may prefer a hand clutch by Kate Spade. Personally, I don't see what the hoopla is about those. They hold nothing.

I am kinda picky about my purses that I spend actual money on. Recently, (like for the last 10 years) I been using a grocery tote. I just couldn't find style, color, or features for less than $100. I'm cheap. I don't want to cart around something that costs a bunch of money, I just want it to look like I am!

I like everything about this purse with one exception. I like the faux leather. It is supple, soft and feels nice. It also looks nice. I like the BOHO style. I like the size of the bag. I mentioned my tote bags. I need space. I need pockets, I need zippers. I need my STUFF! This bag has a lot of stylish room. I like the heavy zippers. I don't think these zippers will give up due to hard use any time soon. I like the layout of the interior. THANK YOU FOR NOT MAKING THE INTEIOR BLACK. I have passed on many a purse because of black lining. I'd prefer a color other than gray, but it is such a huge step in the right direction that I'm not going to complain about that. I'm just so glad it isn't black. How do designers expect you to find anything in a cavernous bag with a black lining?? The interior has a middle zippered pouch and a zipper pocket on one side. It has two side zipper pouches that I didn't think I'd like, but I really, really do. it also has a back zipper pocket. I actually haven't found a use for that yet, since this purse is SO roomy. I like the handle that can be used as a hand hold or swung up onto the shoulder. I haven't used the longer one yet. I wanted this on my shoulder and tucked under my arm. It's perfect.

My one complaint, and keep in mind this will not keep me from enjoying my new bag, is that it is a little heavy. All of that quality of materials costs in the weight of the bag. Then when I pack it with my STUFF, it gets heavier. I'm thinking I'll just build some "purse muscle" to deal with that little issue!

Seriously, we all have our little picky things that keep us from liking one bag or another. This bag hits everything for me. I love the style, the quality, the roominess...I like it so much, I may buy another one and put it away for when this one finally gives up the ghost and becomes too ratty to use. It took me 30 years to find this bag. I imagine it would take me another 30 to replace it.

I love the size of the bag and length of the strap! The color is great as well! The only thing I don't like is there is a distinct fishy smell on the inside. Hopefully this goes away after some time.

I love this bag!
It has pockets everywhere and the sewing is wonderful (I quilt and sew a bit, and tend to look at seams) and the fabric is top notch. This feels like a high mid range bag and fits a lot of stuff - I am at that age where I carry my meds and my husband's meds everywhere, so I need space! This has it - and I am organized!

The pictures don't do it justice, this is a prettier bag in person. I got the khaki, but it is a pretty beige. It did have a faint smell that dissipated after about a day (and I have a pretty keen sense of smell!) The lining feels thick - I love that quality fabric. The zippers are smooth. Even the vegan leather is nice.

I would buy this again... and probably will in another color. Yup. Definitely a great bag.

I have sent two different bags with quality issues back to Amazon and am very pleased with this bag! The brown color is rich, the hardware, attractive and durable looking. I love that there are 3 generous, exterior zippered pockets for rushed moments for keys, phone, and my small wallet. The lining is good quality and the generous interior will hold notebooks, small umbrellas, my kindle and reports. I must have the cross shoulder strap for security and back comfort. The bag came well packed and padded. It is worth the wait (a bit over a week) and I expect this handsome bag to become my preferred bag. It is worth every penny.
