I've always been picky about fish. Usually would only eat salmon. But, recently I saw a video about the health benefits of sardines and decided to give them a try. I figured if I didn't like them, I could always give them to the local stray cats. I bought this brand at Walmart. They only had two cans on the shelf, so that was a good sign that other people like them, as well. I was pleasantly surprised! My next purchase was from Amazon since WM seems to have trouble keeping them on the shelf! I now eat them several times a week. My dog sits at my feet and begs for a taste, too. I usually let him lick the can! Will definitely buy again! Oh, and they are high protein too!

I'm not sure if this company is reducing the amount they're putting in the cans or if this is what they normally put in each can. It seem like they put a minimal amount of sardines in the cans I got and I'm used to getting a lot more in cans of other brands. This is the first time I've tried this brand and they tasted ok, so I'm not sure if this is the best representation for their brand, but I won't be purchasing these again.

I started buying these on Amazon because when I go to the store there is maybe 1 or 2 cans left, also sardines in tomato sauce which my local store doesn't carry at all. The sardines in water are wonderful, I even feed them to my dogs about once a week. Sardines in tomato sauce are MINE!
