Can't Believe I Haven't Bought This Sooner

I have had this on my "thinking about it" list for quite a while. I just didn't think this would be as useful as it really is. Talk about accurate! This thing is amazing - I've tried it from near to far, and there is no way I get the accuracy with a standard tape that this little guy gives. A quick touch of a button to switch the unit to the front or rear of the unit makes it extremely handy for just placing the end on a wall, or measuring something small while using the front calculation. The laser on this seems really strong - I can see it easily in daylight, and I think I could come up with square footage in a medium home now in about 10 minutes. The display is crisp, backlight when you press buttons for a bit and while it is rechargeable and comes with a micro-usb cable to do so, the charge seems like it will last forever. I just put up a pavilion where I needed to measure corner to corner - not fun without a friend and a standard tape. Instead, I pulled the laser measure out of my (included in addition to the wrist strap) belt carrier and had the job figured in a few minutes. What a game changer. Throw in a bunch of super handy features like angle measurements, area calcs, and even paint calcs (honestly haven't tried that one yet - but will next time...) Another plus with this unit is that it is really nicely sized, I was expecting bigger but it's perfectly sized - just a bit smaller than my hand. I'd buy this again in a heartbeat. Really great value.

There's nothing to dislike in this product. I am constructing a townhouse and asked my contractor to provide me the number of tiles required for the house. I waited for 2 weeks and did not get any feedback.
So I checked on YouTube his to measure an area and the best gadget to use. And then I saw that there are these laser distance measuring device and learned about its simplicity and accuracy in terms if measurements.
This particular device didn't showed up on YouTube but when I searched Amazon I found out that there are several brands being offered and some are expensive and some are not. I chose this and I didn't regret it. It's very cheap and has all the other expensive products have. Truly had my money's worth.

I've used the HD Bosch brand for over a decade. This one is far superior. Much cheaper, but feels more solidly built. It reads the angle that you are holding it... which adds a ton of extra features that involve Pythagorean theorem. No need for me to write them all out here. Read about the features in the description. They all work. It measures about 1/8" less than the Bosch model, which makes it dead accurate. It is very consistent. Even good for running crown molding. No more replacing AAA batteries every couple days. USB charge is great! I don't like how it turns off automatically after a couple minutes. Turning it back on and getting it to the auto-read setting takes a moment and the time wasted is not worth the battery savings for me. That might be adjustable, I am looking into it. Still, it is awesome.
