This bag easily accommodates two pairs of all mountain skis, plus additional room for gear. Padding is generous to protect equipment, and there was enough room to wrap ski coats and pants around the skis for extra protection. The wheels are a godsend and make maneuvering through the airport a breeze. I have another double bag from Thule which is more expensive and this Element bag is actually roomier with more room for storage than the Thule. It seems very durable thus far but we will see how it holds up after a few flights.

This bag is a very handy length. I have mostly 178 cm skis and they fit perfectly. There is a pouch inside the bag which will work nicely for some dirty clothes or any other purpose. My disappointment is with a lack of separators to keep the skis apart, and there is only one tie-own strap. I'm used to having a couple of separators and four tie downs.

I haven't used this yet so I can't write about how it holds up, but it seems pretty great based on my initial inspection. It seems light but durable, with sturdy wheels, lots of handles, outside pockets, and compression straps that all look good. Like other reviewers, I wish there was some sort of padding between sets of skis. The velcro section that covers the wheels on the inside of the bag seems like it might be a pain, and could let snow and dirt accumulate and possibly damage the inside. I'm also not sure how useful the internal bag will be--how much it can hold and how it will fit with two pairs of skis in the bag too. But I can't wait to try it out on my next trip. Hopefully my kids will be able to use this so that I'm not stuck hauling everyone's gear.
