Overall, it's a decent tent

So far, it seems like this will be a great little tent for overnight car camping. I have a Ford Escape, and because of the shape of my car, I will need to add more magnets along the top and sides, in order to keep the bugs out. Other than that, I have no complaints. All the zippers work well and it fits my car pretty well. It will definitely help get some air flow in the car, so that will be nice
Excellent tent door but not really an awning

I was searching for a habitent which is no longer made for prius's and came across this instead. It's fantastic for set up and ease. We used it when we drove from Ohio to Florida for Okeechobee Fest, and popped up the hatch to let cool air in at night. Great door system and it didn't blow off or away even through high winds... We saw lots of easy ups and tents blown over that weekend. 4 stars because the awning is quiet tiny and barely an awning at all, doesn't provide much shade. You could find a way to add a side wall and might make sense/be helpful but really it's just best used for the hatch feature.
Buy more magnets!

As a 5' 5" person I cannot install/set it up by myself, but with two people it's VERY easy.
Perfect for tailgating or camping

The media could not be loaded. Easy to put up and adjust with one person ( I'm 5'8)
It fits my 2017 Toyota Highlander perfectly with a minimal amount of adjustment. The outer material is like a raincoat weight, is waterproof and has a reflective coating on the underside to keep out the heat and sun.
You can adjust the height of the main flap anyway from low by using the included stakes to a high and flat awning if you add some adjustable poles.
The bug screen is a fine mesh, so will keep out even the noseeums. The main flap and screen both zip up smoothly and easily.
This is perfect for going tailgating or just for a short camping trip and you don't want to take a big tent.

Subaru Forrester Application: Defects Apparently Corrected

Reading all the reports of poor stitching, broken clips, etc, I am very pleased that this item meets all my requirements. Nothing broke setting it up, straps are securely stitched, all materials are top shelf including the cords, and I'm very satisfied. I was able to put it back in the bag and this simply requires folding and rolling carefully. I have a 2" bike rack hitch that I remove and put a small plastic hitch step on in order to climb into the car, and you can use that with this tent. Criticisms: Using it with a Subaru Forester, Trying to unzip from inside requires you reach down and pull the tent up in order to unzip the screen across the bottom. Not sure what to recommend as a fix, except to suggest a strap down at the bottom of the tent that can be pulled up to make it easier to unzip? If there was elastic around the girth of the tent you wouldn't need those little magnets to keep the tent tight against the body. Speaking of those little magnets: Don't use just one to hold down the tent to the car. Instead, put one magnet down on the car, then put the tent fabric over that magnet, and then put another magnet on top of the fabric, sandwiching the fabric between the 2 magnets. The magnets work very well if you do this.
