Very solid for the price point. Was somewhat concerned when we first turned it on as the small text on my desktop was fuzzy, but the video playback looks quite nice. Definitely not what you want if you're looking to project PowerPoint or anything, but good for watching TV/movies. Not yet sure how it works if you play a game with text elements, but overall good for a simple home theater experience.

Audio isn't bad but as you might expect the speaker is fairly small/limited and has to compete with the unit's fans. You will likely need external speakers as well.

Ease of use is perfect - plug and play.

Can't comment on remote - it was missing from the package. I did receive a credit to my account to compensate me for this, though, so I'm satisfied. Using the top controls is pretty painless.

7/16 update: The seller saw my review and sent me a replacement remote right away. Great customer service experience. The remote synced up and worked no problem - nice added convenience feature. I bumped up to 5 stars in recognition of the service & ease of use.

Honestly, I wasn't expecting too much from this. But I was blown away!

Image Quality
The image quality has been working great on different white walls, and the picture is always clear, if it isn't you just adjust the focus.

Price
The price is amazing for what you get.

Space
It doesn't take up a lot of space but keep in mind that you have to plug it in and attach the HDMI to your computer.

Sound
It gets very loud and the remote can control volume and play pause if you don't want to do it from your computer.

Lifespan
I have had this for about 2 years now and it still seems brand new. But I also put it away when I am not using it and take care of it, just take care of it and it will last you years and it is easily portable.

How to stand it up
I actually use a phone tripod and it works great.

So I actually really love this projector, I think I read nearly every review trying to determine if it was worth it because this was the best reviewed one that was also fairly cheap, and I will say it definitely is worth it. I think it's perfect, I got it because I wanted to watch movies in my room on a bigger scale and it does exactly what I need, the picture quality is good you just need to fiddle with the zoom slider thing on the side to get the right focus. Subtitles are clear and I have it projecting on my wall about 8-9 feet away although I think having it further away would be better tbh. You do have to keep it plugged in which I think is kind of annoying but whatever. The fan is a bit loud but not like distracting, I only use my laptop speakers and it's loud enough to drown it out so I imagine an actual speaker would be perfect. You will need an adapter if you want to use it with any apple products, I got a usb-c to hdmi from Best Buy for like $15 I'm sure there's some on here too. Make sure it's one that has the hdmi port and not the plug, because the projector comes with the hdmi cord to plug it in (sorry if that's confusing). It has the little hole thing on the bottom to attach to a tripod which came in handy because I did end up needing to get one so that's nice. The remote is nice, needs two AAA batteries, very convenient. There's volume controls but I didn't know there were speakers built in to the projector?? not sure how those work or if there's a way to connect to them other than plugging in a usb drive with a video already on it. I doubt it would be very loud anyways but yeah I think I covered everything that I personally was concerned about. sorry this is so long but I hope this helps ðŸ‘

My dtr asked for a mini projector for her bday shes 12 sooo I wasnt looking to get her anything crazy expensive in case she didnt take care of it well boy am I glad I settled on this one and I'm glad we got it before summer cuz I cant wait to use it myself outside. She uses it in her room she puts it on her dresser and they picture shows on the far wall nice and large and with a great picture. Is it as good as a tv picture? No but I wasnt expecting that so if you are maybe it's not for you but it is a good solid picture because seeing fuzzy projections bothers my eyes and I watch a whole movie with her clear and no problem on this.
* the only caution I will give buyers is be careful to check what hdmi cord is suggested to buy with it we needed the suggested I phone cord and I accidentally clicked on buying a cord for android so at first she was only able to use it with her computer till we get the new cord in but that's a seperate purchase and isnt any fault of the projector itself.

first off it has a screw mount on the bottom! Now to the main review: projectors are expensive but they're super versatile. I wanted a screen for my small bedroom (I have roommates) and I didn't have a place to put a TV so a projector was my only option. is the resolution of this projector great? not really. is it passable? absolutely. Look, projectors can cost up to $1000 for top of the line units and a decent ones can be $300-$500 so this projector is 6-10x less expensive than mid tier models. that makes the bang for the buck of this projector amazing. it has HDMI, it has an aux port, it has a USB media player. the throw of the screen is pretty short so the projection isn't as big as I'd like it to be but that's more due to the fact that my room is small than a shortcoming of this projector. I use it for my PS4 and watch YouTube, play games, and enjoy movies on my wall. I'll be able to take it anywhere and set it up with no problem so the bang for the buck on this projector is top notch. think about what you need and if it's not much then this projector is great.
