I purchased two of these door seals to tackle the issue of noise echoing through the bedrooms in my upstairs hallway. With LVP flooring in all the rooms, the noise was becoming a significant problem. I decided to start by installing them in my bedroom and my oldest son's room, aiming for a bit more privacy for both of us.

The installation process was super easy, and I was pleased with the results. The door seals effectively control the light from creeping into the rooms and do a commendable job in minimizing noise. While they don't completely eliminate the echo, there's a noticeable improvement compared to the situation before.

I'm contemplating installing one on each side of the door to see if it further enhances the noise reduction. For the price, this product offers great value, and I'm considering purchasing more to address the issue in other areas of my home. Overall, a great solution for managing noise and light without breaking the bank.

This was so easy to install. Functions as it should. Jeeps the heat or cold it the room. Minimizes the sound too.

Easy to use, simple to install (mildly tricky to cut to size and make sure its high enough for doors to open, but low enough to block draft.) However, once you get them on right, they work really well, and stay in place. Super pleased with results.

This door sweep was easy to install and performs just as advertised. It forms a tight seal against the floor, yet creates minimal resistance/drag when the door is in motion. I installed them on six doors at my house and have been very pleased with this purchase.

Overall, this is a great product. It is pretty effective at noise cancellation, even with just one on the inside of the door, though it would obviously probably be more effective with one on each side.

Warnings/Heads up:
The product wasn't straight when I took it out of the bag, so I couldn't measure it to length and cut it beforehand. As such, I had to slowly peel the tape backing off as I applied the product (idk what it's actually called), which I would recommend doing anyway as it kept the sticky surface protected from dust and debris. I had to cut it after I applied it to the door, which was fine. Obviously, the product is straight once you apply it (unless you don't apply it straight me). I would suggest using a chalk or pencil line, or even just a leveller (though that might get difficult if you're peeling the backing at the same time) to make sure you apply it straight and at the desired height.

Also, the wipe they give you to clean the surface smells like gas (or petrol, depending where you're from). It must be paint thinner or some other similar product. Though, it didn't take the paint off when I wiped the door. And the product itself smells fairly strongly like plastic, but leaving it out of the bag for a half hour got rid of it.

I just applied the product and it appears to be sticking well, I'll update the review if there prove to be issues. But again, overall it's a good product, does what it says it will.
