Easy to assemble and simple to tune to a specific frequency like gmrs. 4db gain above my 3 element yagi directional. The only slightly negative would be you can not put an arrestor directly on the antenna. It won't fit inside the mount. In general, I'm very happy with this antenna.

I got this for my GMRS base unit. The antenna instructions were very clear on how to adjust for best SWR. After adjusting according to the instructions for my chosen frequency I put it on an antenna analyzer I use and SWR was right at 1.2 ... can't complain much about that!
